BLV is an independent brand of the Ushio Group, produced and distributed under the umbrella of Ushio Germany GmbH since 1 February 2021.

BLV has been an established name particularly in the field of horticulture and sports facility lighting and enjoys a worldwide reputation. The BLV HORTURION® and BLV STATURION® lamp series have been manufactured exclusively at the company’s site in Steinhöring, Germany, as well as at the own, ultra-modern production facility at its sister company Ushio Poland, which was inaugurated in 2017.

However, the BLV brand does not only stand for high-quality lamps. Close customer contact, scenario comparisons, light calculations, support with yield plans, project installations and sustainable after-sales support are all part of the service portfolio.

Besides the development, production and sales sites in Germany and Poland, the BLV brand is distributed via an office in Oude Meer, the Netherlands, and a global sales force.
