Powerful lighting for sports facilities
With our BLV STATURION® LED floodlight series, we offer high-performance lighting solutions for various indoor and outdoor sports facilities. We place a particular focus on tennis courts and soccer pitches and see ourselves as a partner to regional clubs. We accompany our customers step by step in the realization of their projects: starting with comprehensive advice and conceptual design through to lighting planning and scenario comparisons.
In addition, we continue to produce and sell our established BLV STATURION® metal halide lamps (MH), which are manufactured exclusively at our company site in Steinhöring. They are still ideal for high-quality lamp replacements or the refurbishment of floodlight systems. In addition, they are often a good or better alternative to LED floodlight systems for clubs for which the investment costs are too high and the amortization periods too long.

Careful preparation for best results
Optimum visibility is essential in sports. This applies not only to actors, but also to referees and spectators. Therefore, some clear standards for luminosity, uniformity, glare limitation, and colour rendering have been defined in the European Sports Lighting standard DIN EN 12193. This directive defines lighting requirements for the most frequently practised sports. Generally, there are three main categories of lighting classes: I, II and III. We advise you in detail on all the requirements of the specific lighting class of your sports facility and on possible future expansion options.
