I would like to place an order, is this still possible?
Our sales staff, as well as our customer service centre, are still available to you by phone and e-mail. Orders can be placed at any time.
Are deliveries currently taking place?
Production and dispatch of goods continues to work as normal. Due to delays in the delivery chain, some longer delivery times may occur.
Can we still supply BLV?
Our goods delivery department is manned as usual, during normal business hours.
Will there be a supply shortage?
We do our utmost to process orders as quickly as possible. However, due to the current situation, delivery bottlenecks may occur for some products. In this case, we will inform you directly when you place your order, or you can contact our customer service centre in advance.
I have a complaint, what can I do?
Our employees are still available for you by phone and e-mail. We will do our best to deal with your complaints in an uncomplicated manner and as quickly as possible.
I have technical questions, who can I contact?
Our customer service centre will continue to be available to you by phone and e-mail. Your enquiries will be forwarded to the technical department directly, if necessary.
I need comprehensive advice, who can I contact?
All employees are more than happy to support you; however, as an existing customer, please contact your previous contact person. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service centre representatives, who will gladly forward your inquiry to the person responsible for your area.
How does BLV deal with the current situation?
The health of our employees is our top priority. All employees who can work from home are encouraged to do so. We have also taken extensive additional measures to ensure the safety of our employees who continue to work on-site.
Does BLV continue to produce?
Production will continue both at our plant in Steinhöring and at our large manufacturing facility in Poland. We have taken measures to ensure that potential interruptions in the supply chain are kept to a minimum. However, the safety and health of our employees is our top priority and we are constantly monitoring the situation.
Can deliveries of goods, lights and lamps “transmit” the virus?
According to the current state of knowledge on transmission routes and the relatively low environmental stability of corona viruses, it is very unlikely that imported goods and parts of our products could be a source of infection. A large part of the production runs by machine, manual production steps are carried out with protective gloves.
At BLV, we keep up-to-date by following the latest scientific findings very closely.
Can I still make an appointment with a BLV sales representative on site?
Due to the current situation we follow a strict #WeStayAtHome policy to protect our employees and our customers. However, our employees are still available to you by phone, e-mail and internet; they will do their utmost to advise you in all relevant areas. Our services such as lighting plan preparation, complaint handling, and after-sales service are also still available.
Where can I meet BLV “live” next time?
As all trade fairs and events have been cancelled, we are currently unable to make any statement in this regard. As soon as the situation has normalised, we will communicate this through all available channels.
