Recessed downlights for suspended ceilings
With a clear design standard, BLV has developed the HEDRION® LED series for special accent and ambient lighting. HEDRION DL 150 Downlights
The HEDRION® LED glass reflector lamp stands for the highest quality: It is equipped with a facetted glass reflector with a high-quality dichroic coating. This unique design guarantees far higher efficiency than conventional reflector lamps with an aluminium reflector. With the product variants bright, pure and tune, optimal lighting solutions for different requirements are available. The practical G46d QuickChange™ base of the lamps enables easy lamp replacement and thus offers flexibility on the spot and extremely easy adaptation to changing requirements. For example, you can insert a lamp with a different beam angle or light colour with a single movement without having to change the luminaire.
However, the HEDRION® LED glass reflector lamp is more than just a pure LED light source. It uses the reflector not only for targeted light control, but also as a design element: it creates a discreetly illuminated ring of light at the end of the luminaire, and in the semi-recessed version of the DL 150 downlight, the glass reflector appears as an integral part of the luminaire design.
Like many other BLV light sources, each BLV HEDRION® LED glass reflector lamp is manufactured at our own Steinhöring production site near Munich – to guarantee the ‘Made in Germany’ quality.
